I feel like I've been on an relaxing vacation. Your pictures capture such colors, such textures, such moods and such feelings that moved me to breathe deeply as I visited each beautiful site. I loved how you captured and honored the elements of nature. From the stone steps in Volos, the chimneys, the adorable chairs over the fountain and the arches in Turkey. The breathtaking skyscapes: looking up at the columns of the Acropolis, to the awesome scenes in Alaska and the sunsets in Crete. And it is no one wonder why Blydenburgh was a winning selection! And the rainscape in Patmos...wow! The colors of the water views throughout were grand...but the black/white waterfall was, for me, amazing. I could hear the water and, more astounding, I could feel the coolness of the water as it cascaded down...IN BLACK AND WHITE no less!!! Flower Dreams from the Bayard Aboretum touched my heart by the simple, yet delicate compositions. A perfect title! Of course, animal shots (the stretched neck of the giraffe and the large, wet tongue of the contented lion) are my favs too. And lastly, let's not forget the children: your little tikes - captured in their animated personalities, the little boy filled with joy as he is surrounded by pigeons, and the "foosala" of your grandchild caressed and admired by one of those who love her. Clearly, that emotion of adoration and wonderment was "held" in that moment. So, as I said, it was a peaceful journey of who you are and what you "see out there". Thank you for offering this gentle experience. Many wishes for continued moments of inspiration and warm reflections.

Very impressive body of work that appears to be growing, which is good news for those of us who appreciate another's insightful perspective on a wide range of subjects as seen through the lens. Keep up the excellent work.

Awesome photos. The depth of your photos and the creativity that went into framing the shots makes you feel like you are at each of the locations. They say a "Picture is worth a thousand words" but all I can say is one word. "WOW".

These are by far some of the most interesting and provocative images that I've seen in a long time. What I like most is the diversity, variety and compelling subjects that he photographs. There is so much work out there today, but Harvey's work shows a mastery of the technical and aesthetic use of the medium. Bravo to all the marvelous camera work in capturing these wonderful images.
